Montgomery Transport is one of the largest companies offering full-load services across all major shipping lanes of the Irish Sea.
Operating to and from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to the rest of Great Britain, and providing domestic services within those countries, Montgomery Transport offers flexibility for a range of delivery services.
With strategically located depots staffed by its experienced and highly motivated teams in Belfast, Dublin, Preston and Birmingham, the fleet comprises over 100 trucks and 500 trailers, Montgomery Transport can ensure full control of customers freight.
Its commitment to continuous improvement is demonstrated by large investment in the fleet of tractors and trailers in 2021 and 2022, and ensures its ability to cope with peak seasonal demand. The quality of the fleet is also guaranteed thanks to procurement from within parent company Ballyvesey Holdings, from companies including Montracon, Intercounty Truck & Van, and West Pennine Trucks.

West Pennine Trucks is one of several independent dealer groups across the Scania network and has held the Scania franchise since 1986. Acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 1994, it is the North West’s largest, privately owned, authorised Scania dealer and covers the developing industrial area of Greater Manchester down into the more rural counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The West Pennine Trucks team provides the complete sales and aftersales support package and work side by side with some of the most recognisable brands in the UK. Montracon has made steady progress in the UK market over the last 40-plus years. A measured expansion programme involving considerable investment in facilities and equipment has ensured increasing production efficiency plus steady growth to the point that today Montracon’s manufacturing plants each rank with the best of any in Europe.
Building what is probably the widest range of trailers available from any of the major European players, the company prides itself on its production flexibility. A nominal 1500 trailers a year capacity can be quickly ‘flexed’ to suit market demand and model mix.

CVA lead the industry for the auction disposal of light and heavy commercial vehicles and plant. Operating from three specialist hubs in Doncaster, Hemel Hempstead and Livingston in Scotland we are the preferred choice for hauliers, transport companies, leading food retailers, vehicle rental companies, finance groups and local authorities for the auction disposal of their assets.
CVA has been trading for more than 30 years and our stable and experienced management team has grown our market share substantially in recent years. It is our ability to forge long-standing, mutually beneficial business relationships with our customers that has been the bedrock of our success and will be the key to our future growth.
CVA typically run two auctions a week, one for its Trucks & Trailers and another for its Vans & Cars. Plant & Machinery auctions are also held every 4 weeks. CVA is seeing a big uptake in customer on-site auctions. These are auctions hosted at the customer’s premises.

Sleator Plant is Mecalac Construction machinery stockists for Northern Ireland. We specialise in the Mecalac range of dumpers and site rollers and offer an efficient and professional service at all times.
The most recent addition to the Sleator Plant machinery lineup and perfectly completing our offering is the Sany range of excavators. Sany is the fourth largest manufacturer of machinery in the world and Sleator Plant is pleased to be able to supply the whole of Ireland with a quality range of excavators, ranging from 1.6 Ton to 50 Ton.
