Sleator Plant Announces Compaction Roller Sales Contract

Northern Ireland-based Sleator Plant, a specialist capital equipment provider to the construction and material handling sectors, has announced a large capital equipment sale to McNicholas Construction Services.

Sleator Plant will supply six Terex® TV800 hydrostatic roller units to leading infrastructure services provider McNicholas Construction Services in the coming weeks. Hard-wearing, reliable and rental-tough, the rollers will be used in a variety of construction and engineering projects across Northern Ireland.

One of Northern Ireland’s largest hydrostatic roller contracts of the year so far, and Sleator Plant’s biggest-ever compaction equipment deal, the agreement demonstrates continued growth in the construction sector, alongside positive signs of a recovering economy. Jonathan Campbell, General Manager of Sleator Plant, commented: “Only a few months ago, we announced a record-breaking contract for the supply of 54 Terex site dumpers to a Northern Ireland-based hire company. To follow this up with our largest ever compaction roller deal is fantastic news!

“Over the past few years, we’ve worked closely with McNicholas Construction Services to deliver a regular supply of Terex site dumpers. The company has been so impressed with our product offering, support and aftersales service, we were one of the obvious choices when looking to specify new compaction equipment. Special thanks must be given to Brian Frizzell, one of our Sales Executives, who coordinated the agreement and will head up the equipment delivery and aftersales support going forwards.”

Paul Macpherson, Sales and Marketing Director of Terex Construction’s Coventry Facility, added: “We were delighted to learn of Sleator Plant’s recent win with McNicholas Construction Services. Adding another significant agreement to a whole host of other sales successes is testament to the dedication and commitment of the entire team.”
