Having built the business and firmly established the brand in the UK and European trailer market over the last 45 years Ballyvesey believes now is the opportune time to pass the baton forward.

We are delighted to confirm the business has been sold to Martin Group as a fully functioning and operational business in good standing, with the expectation that Montracon will continue to trade without interruption under new ownership.

In completing the transaction on 15 July 2025, Ballyvesey Holdings Limited acknowledged the significant contribution of the employee teams in Doncaster, Market Weighton and formally Mallusk in bringing the business of Montracon to this juncture in its evolution.

Under the ongoing leadership of Managing Director, Ray McSorley and Finance Director, Janine McMahon the business will continue apace, and we congratulate Martin Group on completing this their most recent acquisition and we wish them every success in the future.
